History

Boxing Club Lokomotiva from Zagreb is the oldest boxing club in Croatia and one of the oldest in the region.

The club operates as part of Sportsko društvo Lokomotiva (the Lokomotiva Sports Society), founded in 1945, and over the decades has built a rich tradition, shaping many generations of boxers. Its legendary gym on Crnatkova Street has become a symbol of the Zagreb boxing school and the place where numerous top athletes came of age.

Throughout its history the club has won numerous team and individual championships in Zagreb and Croatia, earning a reputation as one of the finest centres for developing young boxers.

To this day BK Lokomotiva nurtures the „old-school" tradition of boxing, and alongside its competitive work remains an important meeting point for athletes and recreational boxers who want to learn in an authentic boxing environment.
